Subtitles

Subtitles seem to work for me so far, or, as far as I have tested. I watched a lot video files with muxed subtitles. You can rotate through all available muxed subtitles. The sync seems to be ok too. I didn't have to use the "Sync Subtitle" function until now. External subtitles seem to work as well. After I fast forwarded or rewinded the video, the subtitles seem still to be sync.

Annoying issue: when you got muxed subtitles and an external subtitle, you cannot switch to the external subtitle. This is a major bug. But should be easy to be fixed in future firmwares.

Some movies will have video blocking when you enable/change subtitles. Immediately pressing GOTO and ENTER would solve this as a workaround for now since I'm not constantly changing subtitles throughout the whole movie all the time. This definitely has to be fixed in the future as a lot people classify this as a major bug.

There is another issue: if you've red the official forums, you might came across threads where people are writing that their subtitles often contain different subtitles which are to be shown at the same time, e.g. one at the top, the other at the bottom as in Anime episodes. Looks like the Xtreaemer does not support this yet, but I guess, it will be possible with a future firmware.

While watching a video with subtitles you can use the direction buttons on the remote to change the size and position. Left/Right for size and Up/Down for position. I think not many people are playing around with subtitles very often while watching the movie, so the direction keys could be used for somethin more useful like timeskipping forward and backwards!
