DVD Backups

I had no problems watching DVD backups from external HDDs, USB sticks or from a Windows Share. It also didn't matter if they were backupped in .ISO, .NRG, .IMG format or even just as a DVD folder (VIDEO_TS). But .NRG and .IMG images are not shown by the file browser. You have to rename the extension to .ISO otherwise the Xtreamer will not display the files. I hope they will fix this since I didn't have to convert the .NRG and .IMG to .ISO ...  just renaming the extension was sufficient to play the DVD.

Changing the audio track and subtitle on thy fly was working without any problems. I have tried English, German, Korean and Vietnamese subtitles and all were displayed properly. Many more languages should be supported like Chinese, Japanese etc.

One annoyance I found is that you cannot use the "Skip" and "Prev" button to change to next or previous DVD movie chapter. Instead it will look for the next/previous media file in the folder. In case of playing the movie from an image, there is no other media file, so the Xtreamer will exit the movie and display the folder view. You have to re-open the DVD image and resume playback. If I'd give the remote to my girlfriend and she would come across this "bug" she would be like: "Hey, your so cool Xtreamer thing is out-of-order!"
