DDNS
With firmware v1.0.2 this feature is now working properly as already mentioned. In the Xtreamer's web interface you choose a unique name for the DDNS service and applying this you should get a message that your name is set up. When done and your port forwarding settings are correct you can access the web interface from anywhere in the world by using <myname>.myxtreamer.net ...
... and as a side affect, since this is replacing any other DynDNS service you won't need a DynDNS.org account anymore to have your latest IP always mapped to a hostname! So you can use Windows Remote Desktop easily without worrying that DynDNS.org didn't update your IP correctly. I use both services though, one to substitute the other in case of malfunctioning and due to the fact that my cable internet provider very rarely changes my IP so I can't be 100% sure yet, if the Xtreamer will automatically check the current IP and changes it if it does not match the host in the Xtreamer DDNS server.
