Streamripper

Straightforward installation and usage of this nice ripping tool. It allows you to rip songs from MP3 streams to your e-TRAYz.

Install Streamripper

Login as "root" and type:

/opt/bin/ipkg update
/opt/bin/ipkg install streamripper

Start Streamripper

No need to create any folder. All necessary folders will be created automatically. I avoid starting Streamripper as user "root" because this will result in problems accessing files in any event if you're using the default e-TRAYz configuration, so I start it like this:

sudo -u sysadmin streamripper <URL of stream> -d <folder to save the ripped files>

e.g.

sudo -u sysadmin streamripper http://222.236.45.247:6666 -d /home/sysadmin/Streamripper
