Conclusion
For €49 they put a decent piece of technology together. Of course you can't compare it to a headset with price tags around €300 so we got to look at it from other point of views. The quality of the transmitted signal is awesome compared to my Sony RF headset. I always had a very strong audio signal, no interferences or disruptions while moving around in my living room. The headset is very lightweight (sure... it's plastic) and its ergonomic design feels very nicely on my ears, it's no problem to watch a 2 hour movie or even longer. I never had the feeling of numb ears after taking it off. The basses are good enough but I'm somehow not satisfied with the volume level: they could have allowed a higher volume.
A bad thing is the fact that you can't recharge batteries (the box comes with non-rechargeables) without taking them out. Combined with the weak plastic elements that hold the battery cover and the earpiece together this sounds like a serious no-go to me that should be improved in the future. Either by allowing to recharge batteries with a USB cable or by improving the battery cover mechanism so that I won't be afraid to crack this nice little Xtreamer gadget! I would prefer the first idea.
Nonetheless, if you don't own a wireless headset yet, and need one for the Xtreamer, why not go for the same brand, afterall it's a useful piece of technology for your home cinema.
